During our Two Day Wedding Cake Course:

 

1. Use the Frost Form Method to create a Ganache Crumbcoat on a 6 inch cake.

 

2. Learn how to create sharp fondant corners using sugarpaste.

 

3. Learn the skills required to cover polystyrene cake dummies which are an integral part of large tiered wedding cakes. Especially if in future you were creating 12/14 inch bottom tier ruffles.

 

4. Learn how to create a flawless metallic finish on your cakes incl gold, silver, rose gold and pearl PLUS gold leaf!

 

5. Learn how to create an on trend marble effect using sugarpaste to cover cakes.

 

6. Learn how to create quick sugarcraft ruffles.

 

7. How to attach silk flowers/faux foliage.

 

8. Tips for stacking, transporting large cakes and setting up at venues.

 

Access will be given after class to my online baking, ganache and crumbcoat class.

 

To enable us to concentrate on sharp corners and decoration you will cover a 6 inch cake in sugarpaste and a 4 and 8 inch cake dummy. The 10 inch cake dummy will be covered by Gill before you attend.

 

Venue: The Secret Warehouse, Siren St, Bootle, Liverpool, L20 8HN. Free on the road parking.

 

This fun and informative class is an introduction to Gill's methods, therefore you will need to repeat the skills taught at home until you reach the standard you are aiming for.

 

It is important that this cake is not used to sell on as it will be your first attempt using my methods.
